Get the Awe

Offer

The intention of Aweledge is to transform information about climate and environmental change into meaning and impulses for action. The exact form of the Process will be developed and adapted depending on the available time frame, topic of interest and audience.

Processes usually

  • range from two hours to four days
  • accommodate groups of four to a hundred people
  • preferably take place in-person but can be adapted to an online process if necessary

As holistic learning is a reflexive process that might require time for thoughts, ideas and sensings to emerge, ripe or compost, an Aweledge Process can consist of a pre-determined number of sessions over the course of several weeks.

For Whom is it?

Aweledge is for everyone who wants to engage deeper with the topic of environmental change, engage in collective sense-making and create a sense of agency. It is for everyone who feels a calling to make a difference within their individual spheres of influence.

Let’s get the transformation started!

Aweledge is for school classes, businesses, environmental NGOs or any other group curious about exploration and sense-making around climate change.

For the Curious and Collaborators

Are you already familiar with inner work and curious to explore new practices? Do you want to take part in the sustainability transformation but aren’t sure yet what your role could look like? Are you a researcher in the environmental field who would like to broaden your research to include holistic approaches?

Aweledge is an invitation to

  • Learn about how the sustainability transformation is connected with culture and mindsets.
  • Get inspired to explore holistic sense-making practices in the context of the environment.
  • Get in touch if you want to write joint funding proposals.

For Businesses and NGOs

Do you want to make your organization more sustainable and have realized that transformation takes more than CO2 accounting and a recycling system?

Do you aim to cultivate a sense of interconnectedness, empowerment and agency within your organisation to collectively embark towards a sustainable future?

How could a collaboration with Aweledge look like in detail?

Example I:

A large and successful corporation has hired Aweledge to conduct a series of workshops with 40 employees in the innovation department of the company. Over the course of one year, Aweledge accompanies the employees through a process that combines information about the impacts and implications of climate change for the company with empowering them to collectively create solutions that are truly transformative in terms of sustainability, going beyond typical “easy fixes”. In four two-day workshops, employees engage in deeper reflection, develop a sense of collective efficacy with their team members, and generate concrete ideas for innovations through holistic sense-making practices. Practices range from new approaches to dialogue to embodiment practices and creative experimentation.

Example II:

An environmental NGO has hired Aweledge to assist them in resolving a frozen conflict between farmers and environmentalists. During a one-day workshop, Aweledge introduces practices capable of mitigating polarization, which surpass the discussion of well-known and frequently reiterated arguments on both sides. This initial step towards trust-building between opposing groups aids the NGO in progressing with their conflict resolution process

What’s the Long-Term Vision of Aweledge?

Aweledge wants to connect head, heart and hand at all levels of society, from childcare to business, from decision-making in politics to innovations in technology. It dreams of a society that collaborates, learns and evolves in a holistic manner. It aims at healing the wounds of separation and believes in the unlimited potential of collective creativity and agency.
